How We Evaluate Providers

We publish our evaluation criteria and process openly; proprietary scoring weights remain confidential.

All information is based on data available at the time of publication and may not reflect current offerings. Please visit each platform's website for the most accurate and up-to-date details. Ratings reflect an independent review conducted by the team at TreatmentMD, maintained independently of each company's licensing, clinician oversight, pricing, medication access, and patient experience, and are updated regularly.

How We Vet Providers

Before a provider is listed on TreatmentMD, the editorial team conducts a structured review that includes:

• • Website and intake review — We complete or simulate the patient intake flow to verify the care pathway is clinically coherent and patient-facing information is accurate.
• • Licensure verification — We confirm the provider holds appropriate state licensure(s) for the jurisdictions in which they operate, using publicly available state medical board and telehealth licensing records.
• • Pricing and medication transparency check — We verify that pricing is disclosed prior to purchase and that medication options, availability, and fulfillment logistics are clearly communicated.
• • Policy review — We review cancellation, refund, and privacy policies for accessibility and completeness.
• • Clinician oversight confirmation — We verify that a licensed clinician is involved in prescription decisions and that the platform is not operating outside applicable prescribing standards.

Providers must pass all inclusion criteria before they are listed. Criteria are evaluated independently of any commercial or compensation arrangement.

Ongoing Monitoring

Listing on TreatmentMD is not permanent. The editorial team monitors listed providers on an ongoing basis through the following practices:

• • Monthly content review — Each listed provider's website, pricing, and care flow are reviewed at least monthly to identify material changes.
• • Triggered re-review — If a provider undergoes a significant change (regulatory action, public complaint, change in medication availability, or pricing restructure), we conduct an immediate re-evaluation.
• • User and reader feedback — We accept and review feedback from readers who report inaccuracies or concerns about listed providers. Substantiated concerns initiate a formal re-review.
• • Removal policy — Providers that no longer meet inclusion criteria are removed from listings promptly, independent of any commercial relationship.

TreatmentMD lists GLP-1 telemedicine providers that collectively serve patients across all 50 US states and Washington D.C. As a directory and comparison platform, TreatmentMD does not itself provide telemedicine consultations — geographic eligibility and state-specific licensure are determined at the provider level.
